Its been a while since I’ve ordered something more than a magazine. All my earnings have been going towards a laptop and a dSLR that I’m now taking these photos with.
So when I received the Dengeki G’s Festival! COMIC Vol. 17 earlier today I put my new camera to good use. In addition, I remembered that there’s something pretty nice inside.
Here it is. A Rewrite-themed issue, complete with a Kanbe Kotori dakimakura!

This morning an e-mail came from Hobby Search.
It notified me that Hobby Search has begun taking preorders for Dengeki G’s Festival! Vol.21. It’s going to be a Rewrite-themed pack – and it’s going to contain some awesome goodies.
- Nakatsu Shizuru dakimakura
- Ootori Chihaya nendoroid petit
Being a Shizuru lover, it didn’t take long for me to send an order in. Just look at how suggestive she is in that pre-production picture. ￥3800 is easy to part with for Shizuru-tan.
If you’d also like to order one, I’d suggest Hobby Search – they will ship directly to you, and their prices are lower than on Amazon. Better get yours quickly though, they don’t restock their products most of the time.
It is official!
Dengeki G’s Festival! COMIC Vol. 15, to go on sale on December 25, will come with a life-size dakimakura cover featuring Yui from Angel Beats!
I’m going “excellent, excellent” about this!
By the way, for those that forgot, Vol. 14 of the same magazine came with this:
Yeah, a nearly fully nude Kanade!
In other news, the December 2010 issue of Dengeki G’s magazine will come with a bath-poster of Kanade in white school swimsuit!
It’s going to be a busy December this year! My wallet will be crying too (^_-)-☆
When I received the G’s Festival! Deluxe Vol. 7, I had also gotten G’s Festival! Vol. 17 in the same shipment. Thanks to final exams, I had little time to do anything else.
But now that the exams are over, I’m able to post up these photos!
The art is good. I think it might be one of those that are commissioned for these one-off goods, since I’ve never seen this picture of Yuri before.

10:40am – I received my shipment just over 30 min ago, just as I was to leave for classes. It was just another normal shipment, except that the CBSA decided that my box warranted a full strip-search. They opened it, took the June 2010 issue of Dengeki G’s out of its clear cover and God knows what else. I didn’t have enough time to check out if anything went bad or worse yet, missing from this “precious” shipment (Dengeki Festival Deluxe is sold out and out of production already, so it’s impossible to get another). To add insult to injury they decided that my $55 shipment needed a $2.51 GST and $5 handling fee. I’ll be at university for at least another 6-7 hours, but I really want to get home and verify everything instead.
11:45pm – UPDATE: UNPACKED!
It seems that the CBSA didn’t rip my G’s Festival Deluxe open. Phew!
Now, time for pictures!
