電撃G’s Festival! Deluxe Vol. 7
I received the combined shipment of G’s Festival! Deluxe Vol. 7 and G’s Festival! Vol. 17 yesterday. Since I haven’t opened the Vol. 17 yet I’ll post up some of the pictures of Deluxe Vol.7 up here.
Deluxe Vol.7 actually came out on June 18, a week before the release of Kud Wafter. The whole thing is in celebration of Kud Wafter’s release, so the special this time around is Kudryavka in school swimming suit for obvious reasons.

Key Soundtrack Suite
Or in Japanese, 「美少女ゲーム組曲」 was on live broadcast on Nicovideo yesterday morning.
What is it? Well, it was a 60-minute nonstop suite of Key soundtracks. The live broadcast started at 5am PDT – probably not a time when many “sane” people are awake (^^)v
One of the major excitement was hearing the Rewrite OP. I haven’t started Rewrite yet, so it was the first time for me – and it sounds very different from previous Key music. I really liked it – will probably be buying the maxi single when it comes out a few month before Rewrite.
Something else the viewers found out in the livecast; it was an official livecast from Key – so that means many of the important figures at Key, like Shimizu Jun’ichi, Tsunokawa Yuuto and even Maeda Jun were probably watching this as well. Even the CEO of VisualArt’s commented on his Twitter that he was watching the replay. Nice!
Hit past the break for some screenshots of the event.

Can’t Wait…
I just can’t wait to get three things at once.
Kud Wafter, Dengeki HIME July 2010 and Keep the Beats! are all waiting for an owner! I just have to wait until 6/30/2010 when Keep the Beats! is released…then I can get all three shipped over.
Meanwhile, the hashtags #kudwaf and #rewrite keep spoiling the storyline for me! aarrrgh (・へ・)
Update regarding the Rewrite demo version
Since moving onto a new scripting engine for Rewrite, featuring richer animations, more options and native widescreen support, Key has decided to include a “benchmark” to test your system for performance. From what I hear it’s similar to one found in The Last Remnant and ranks your PC on scale from S to D but it probably goes lower than D.
An Core 2 Duo E6600 coupled with Radeon HD4670 gets a B rating, so I’m hoping for at least a A, possibly S given that I have a 3.32GHz E7200 and 790MHz GTS250 – both of them which are overclocked.
