Yeah, I know, it’s a bit late. Normally I would’ve had a review of the June 2010 issue up about 3 weeks ago, but as I detailed here I made a mistake and ordered the wrong Dengeki magazine. Plus I’ve been putting off reading it for the last week due to a lot of things (Little Busters, Call of Duty 4, Angel Beats!, etc.).
This is the front cover for this month:
More after the break..
This month, only one extra came with the magazine; the figure you see up there from Shin: Koi Hime. It’s also movable, which is pretty cool.
When I assembled it I had a hard time trying to make it balanced, but now I’ve managed to have it not topple over every time.
Now, as for the magazine itself.
– It will feature two new heroines, Aritsuki Shiina and Himuro Yuuki. While Shiina is supposedly a Japanese girl interested in rockets and space, Yuuki is yet another quarter, this time Northern European instead of Russian.
– Also, new screenshots:
Sorry for the bad scans, I only have a HP Photosmart.
Notice the わふわふ度. I’m guessing that more hearts signify that there’ll be something very ecchi following the scene in-game.
The extras that will come in next month’s Dengeki G’s will also be a Kud figure to commemorate the release of Kud Wafter on June 25th!
Does Kudo’s expression on the left figure seem familiar? It’s the same original art by Na-Ga that was featured on the dakimakura cover from Dengeki G’s Festival! Vol. 5.
Meanwhile, there’ll be another Festival! Deluxe edition due on June 18th. The bonus? Noumi Kudryavka Stretchy School Swimsuit figure. Yeah, a full-fledged figure at only ¥3800. This will go well hand-in-hand with this figure that recreates the Ecstasy! moment from Little Busters! EX.
Also, the ending themes for all routes for Kud Wafter just recently got recorded, as detailed in the official Kud Wafter blog.
There’s an entire section of in-game conversation with Kanbe Kotori this month. It’s the dialogue that goes along with this event CG:
Now, there’s a screenshot revealed.
World’s very first in-game screenshot of Rewrite!
It looks a bit different from previous Key games, and for a good reason. As told in the yellow box, Rewrite uses a new game engine developed by Visual Art’s. There will be more ways to interact and the game will run in Widescreen.
Furthermore, the trial version of Rewrite that will come with Kud Wafter will actually feature all heroines! Which means it will be quite a large demo.
My order of Dengeki HIME July 2010 has been filled by Amazon just yesterday. Since it’s classified as “adult material” it can’t be shipped directly. I’ll be bundling it together with the Festival Deluxe! Vol. 7, so I should have both figures of Kudo by next month. Stay tuned!
