September’s been around for two weeks now. This magazine has been around for a month. Shame on me for not reading it earlier, since it contained a lot of relevant information – a month ago, that is.
As one can plainly see, this month’s main focus is on Love Plus+. Maybe ASCII Media Works got complaints that all they featured was Key on the front. Just maybe.
Hit past the break to see the monthly extra!
This month’s issue is bundled with a deck of Angel Beats! playing cards.
Left is the packaging, and the right shows the deck.
The actual cards.
The cards themselves are of quality you’d expect from a deck you buy from a general store. In other words, good. The art on there, excluding the Aces, are taken straight out of the anime, which means the art isn’t as good as it can be.
I’d love to use it if it weren’t the for the fact that I won’t be able to get this again, as it isn’t sold separately (as far as I know).
Being that I finally read the magazine nearly a month late, most announcements have been known for quite some time.
Ore no Imouto ga konnani kawaii wake ga nai
Unusual for G’s Magazine (at least recently) they took out an entire section in the beginning and devoted to the upcoming, highly anticipated anime title “Ore no imouto ga konnani kawaii wake ga nai” (God I hate typing that out in romaji).
It details out the five major characters and has several illustrations of each from different angles.
Attendees of C78 also had a chance to get hold of a limited production dakimakura….with Kirino on it. Envious!
Angel Beats! coverage is winding down – there were only 4 pages this month, and 2 were a cover illustration. I guess its been 3 months since the last episode, so it doesn’t come as a surprise. On the other hand…
This is Key’s next biggest thing for 2011. Of course, no firm release date yet, but 2011 would be 4 years after Little Busters! – the longest gap between major releases yet. This month a cute, twin-tailed character Nakatsu Shizuru was covered in detail.
This month marks the beginning of a new comic in the back section.
Rewrite Comic has been started this month with a full episode beginning next month. Just another addition in the list of Key comics that I (partly) spend $30 each month to get this magazine!
