Yes, that’s right.
Those in the Key visual novel scene know that Rewrite was released to great fanfare and expectations on June 24, 2011. Since then, the buzz has calmed down somewhat but people praise the different feel Rewrite offers compared to previous Key visual novels.
And now, Rewrite was so successful that Key is making a fandisc, titled Rewrite ~Harvest festa.~.
Release date is still unknown, however.
My catch-up continues. I have opened the box for the March 2011 issue of Dengeki G’s Magazine before I left for a trip to China, but I was not able to publish it in time. This, combined with the censorship of WordPress from the PRC meant I had no choice.
Hit past the break for coverage of two issues.
Release is June 24, 2011!
My coverage of the past issues continue.
Although it says “February 2011” the issue in reality arrives at Japanese stores and homes just after the New Year’s.
The cover of February 2011 might be unfamiliar for many; it’s adorned by a non-mainstream product for once.
The particular product in question is Aiyoku no Eustia, an R-18 visual novel produced by August. It came out just last month (April 2011) after delays due to the earthquake and tsunami.
And the package.
Hit past the break to see the specials for that month.
This morning an e-mail came from Hobby Search.
It notified me that Hobby Search has begun taking preorders for Dengeki G’s Festival! Vol.21. It’s going to be a Rewrite-themed pack – and it’s going to contain some awesome goodies.
- Nakatsu Shizuru dakimakura
- Ootori Chihaya nendoroid petit
Being a Shizuru lover, it didn’t take long for me to send an order in. Just look at how suggestive she is in that pre-production picture. ￥3800 is easy to part with for Shizuru-tan.
If you’d also like to order one, I’d suggest Hobby Search – they will ship directly to you, and their prices are lower than on Amazon. Better get yours quickly though, they don’t restock their products most of the time.
